Holy Trinity High School is thrilled to announce that it has yet another talented and innovative student entrepreneur! Join us in congratulating Noah Hood, a junior from the Class of 2024, who has emerged victorious in the Regional Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) competition with his groundbreaking product, Cloudwalkr.
Noah’s entrepreneurial journey began with a personal experience that deeply impacted him. When he was younger, Noah, his mother, and his cousin were involved in a car accident, which, coupled with arthritis, caused chronic leg and foot pain for his mother. It was during this difficult time that she uttered a simple wish: “I wish I could walk on a cloud.” These words stayed with Noah, sparking his determination to create a product that could alleviate his mother’s pain and bring comfort to others facing similar challenges.
After months of brainstorming and prototyping and with the help of NFTE teacher, Mr. David Bencivenga, Noah developed Cloudwalkr—an orthopedic sock designed to provide exceptional support and comfort. The innovative sock features a soft padded sole to alleviate pressure, Achilles support to enhance stability, and shin support for added protection. With Cloudwalkr, Noah aims to empower individuals with chronic pain, enabling them to walk with ease and regain their mobility.
Noah’s exceptional product not only impressed the judges at Holy Trinity, but it also triumphed in the quarterfinal, semifinal, and regional 90-second NFTE competitions. His dedication, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit have earned him the prestigious opportunity to represent Holy Trinity High School in New York City for the national title. Noah will be the sixth Holy Trinity student to compete at this national level, further highlighting the remarkable talent that our school continues to foster.
Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Noah is a well-rounded and compassionate young man who excels in various areas of his life. He has a passion for math, effortlessly solving complex equations, and enjoys playing basketball and music. However, what truly sets Noah apart is his unwavering compassion and dedication to his family. He selflessly cares for his mother, grandmother, and grandfather, exemplifying our Holy Cross values.
As a school community, we are immensely proud of Noah’s achievements and his ability to positively impact the lives of others through his entrepreneurial endeavors. We wholeheartedly support him as he prepares to compete on a national stage, showcasing the innovative spirit and talent that Holy Trinity High School cultivates in its students.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. David Bencivenga for his tireless work with Noah and the entire NFTE class. Congratulations to Noah on his remarkable accomplishments and wish him the very best as he represents Holy Trinity at the national NFTE competition. We have no doubt that he will continue to inspire us all with his ingenuity, compassion, and commitment to making a difference in the world.
