HT Girls’ Basketball Defeats Northtown, 39-19

The win at home moved the Tigers back on track for the season, and allowed Coach Gruber an opportunity to get some valuable playing time not only for the regulars but for all team members. HT Girls’ Basketball Falls Just Short to Rochelle Zell on the Road, 47-44

Final Score: Rochelle-Zell 47,  HT 44.   HT: 2-1 overall (Chicago Prep Conference 0-1.) On the road, in a CPC conference matchup, the Lady Tigers fell just short of victory falling to Rochelle Zell 47-44. The visiting Tigers struggled through the first quarter, trailing 10 to 4 after 8 minutes of play. From the 2nd quarter on however, HT was right in this contest. Holy Trinity Girls’ Basketball Defeats Parker, Improves to 2-0 on Season

Posted by AD Schwadron on 12/6/24 The HT Girls' Basketball team defeated Francis W. Parker, 30-24, on Thurs., Dec. 5, to improve to 2-0 on the season. The Lady Tigers got it done thanks in large part to a team effort on defense (15 defensive rebounds, 17 steals) as well as the offensive glass (15 offensive rebounds). HT Boys’ Basketball Nabs Third Win of the Season, 54-25, against Golder

The HT Boys' Basketball team (3-2 overall) defeated Golder College Prep, 54-25, in its home opener on Tues., Dec. 3. HT featured senior Drayton Williams with 13 points, freshman Jordan Harper with 10 points, Elder Donaldson with 9 points, and Aiden Upchurch with 8 points. Holy Trinity Baseball Coach, Joe Glorioso, to be Inducted into IHSBA Hall of Fame!

Holy Trinity's Varsity Baseball Head Coach, Joe Glorioso, is being inducted into the IHSBCA Hall of Fame! This honor recognizes those coaches who have led an exemplary career of integrity, dedication, service, and commitment to their program, to their profession, and to Illinois High School Baseball.  The formal induction will occur at the IHSBCA Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony. The Hall of Fame dinner and Induction Ceremony will take place at The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center Hotel on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Chicago Bears to Fund All-Girls Flag Football Team at Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity Athletics has partnered with the Chicago Bears to start the first All-Girls’ Flag Football team at HTHS. This is a groundbreaking move for HT Athletics! The Bears have agreed to donate $2,500 to jumpstart the official IHSA team at Holy Trinity beginning Fall 2025. Additionally, the Bears have offered a free clinic at Holy Trinity P.E. classes, as well as donating equipment such as footballs and flag belts. Thank you, Bears! Perhaps, someday, the first female Chicago Bear in the NFL will be a Holy Trinity alumni. 🏈🤔🌟

Holy Trinity Baseball Unveils 5 New Banners in the HTHS Gym!

On Fri., Nov 8th, 2024, the Holy Trinity Baseball Tigers hosted a special HT Athletics event in the HTHS gym! Head Varsity Coach Joe Glorioso and the baseball team unveiled 5 new banners to celebrate some truly awesome accomplishments throughout the years. A large crowd of players, coaches, parents, and alumni gathered in the cafeteria for food and beverages, and then made their way up to the gym for the unveiling ceremony. Girls’ Volleyball Senior Hannah Barnes wins Conference Player of the Year!

Special Holy Trinity sports announcement: Senior Hannah Barnes was named Girls Volleyball Conference Player of the Year for the Chicago Prep Conference! This award represents the Most Valuable Player out of the entire conference, and was voted on by all coaches and athletic directors from all the various schools. The last time we had a Conference Player of the Year on the Girls Volleyball team was back in 2017, when HT was the top team in our conference, and also won the first ever regional championship. It is great to know that Hannah's efforts and growth over the years did not go unnoticed and she received the most votes from as many as 8 other nominees this year. We are super proud of her – if you see her please congratulate her! GO HANNAH 

Elizabeth Torres, Holy Trinity’s New President

  Dear Holy Trinity Community, On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Brothers of Holy Cross, it is my great pleasure to announce that Elizabeth Torres has been appointed as Holy Trinity High School’s next President. Ms. Torres will begin in this role on March 26, 2025. She succeeds Brother James VanDyke, C.S.C., who has guided The School as Interim President since July 2024, and Timothy M.
