Student Clubs & Activities

Be part of it…

Part of the richness of a Holy Trinity education is the diversity of opportunities and activities available to you both before and after school. We encourage every student to get involved in the life of the school to deepen natural talents or simply explore new ones. Holy Trinity’s wide array of clubs and activities provides a great way for you to become an active member of the broader school community, make new friends, and learn valuable leadership skills.

Ambassadors Club

Ambassadors help represent the school to prospective students and their families. Ambassadors participate in recruitment visits at area grammar schools, host 7th and 8th graders for Shadow Days, and help plan and host Holy Trinity Open Houses, Entrance Exam Day, and Registration events.

AV Club

Provide support for HT events while learning the ins and outs of audio-visual arts.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

In the Big Brothers Big Sisters Workplace Mentoring program, students are matched one-to-one with a volunteer mentor. They meet in a group setting on site at Northern Trust Headquarters with other matches and a Program Coordinator. The goal of the program is to provide positive modeling and interaction between adults and children, character building, and relationship development that leads to school and lifetime success.

Black Student Union

B.S.U. recognizes the black community both on and off campus and brings awareness of the black community to the entire student body. Students participate in cultural events, black history assemblies, fundraising events, and social gatherings.

Poetry Club/Slam Team

The Poetry Club gives students an opportunity to express themselves in all forms of creative use of language. Every year, the poetry club sends a team of performance poets to “Louder than a Bomb,” a city-wide poetry slam competition. Student government is comprised of 18 elected representatives (four from each class and two executive officers) who represent the student body and interact with HT executive leadership. Membership activities include leadership retreats, various fundraising and philanthropic activities, as well as peer counseling.

Yearbook Club provides students the opportunity to produce and publish a comprehensive school archive. Students capture key school events and activities in writing and through photography to create a lasting memento of the school year.

Don't see what you're looking for?

Consider forming a new club for the school! That is the type of direct impact you can have at Holy Trinity. All you have to do is develop a mission statement for your idea, present a plan to the Administrative Team and secure a faculty member to serve as club moderator.
