Tiger Runners Close Season with Strong Performances at Conference and Regional Meets The Holy Trinity Cross Country teams put together some of their best runs of the season in the final two meets of the year. In the boys CPC Championship race, senior Pitias Merach finished ninth, covering the three mile course in 20:15. His time and effort placed him on the All-Conference team. The Hunt for October Begins written by Coach Gladden Under cloudy and rainy skies, the Holy Trinity Cross Country teams began their quests for qualifying regional times in late October at the Roycemore Invitational. One hundred and seventy athletes representing thirteen schools competed in the boys and girls three mile races. Pitias Merach powered through the course in a seasonal best time of 20:48.40, finishing 24 th on the boys side. Final Tune-up before CPC Conference Meet written by Coach Gladden In a meet with some of the fastest distance runners in the State, Viktor Markovych finished in the top half of the varsity runners on Saturday at Ken Jakalski’s Mane Event Cross Country Invitational, covering the 5K course in 19:53.00.
