This class is a continuation of advanced hand building, sculpture and wheel techniques learned in Ceramics 2. Students will create independent and advanced clay projects involving sculptural problem-solving and aesthetic concepts. Students will explore and research current and historical sculptors and potters. The students will also continue to develop advanced skills on the pottery wheel, wheel throwing and pottery design. Short fingernails are required all year.
