Ceramics I

This class is a continuation of the hand building and sculpture techniques learned in ceramics. Students will create independent and advanced clay projects involving sculptural problem-solving and aesthetic concepts. Students will explore and research current and historical sculptors and potters. The students will also develop skills on the pottery wheel, wheel throwing and pottery design. Short fingernails are required all year.
