This is an online course taught through our partner, Educere. This course is taught through an online curriculum, supervised by Holy Trinity faculty during the school day. English Language Learners will be introduced to essential vocabulary and grammar through in-depth lessons which include participating in thoughtful forum discussions and learning to interpret and produce the language in both written and oral form. Vocabulary topics explored include: greetings, family relationships, school/classes, telling time, daily routines, places, weather, sports, shopping, and food. Grammar topics include definite and indefinite articles, noun/adjective agreement, expressing possession, subject pronouns, present tense verbs, simple commands, immediate future, comparisons, adverbs, exclamatory phrases, and direct object pronouns. These vocabulary and grammar topics combined with cultural exploration make this course a dynamic, comprehensive beginner level ESL course.
