The course introduces the student to gathering, displaying, and interpreting data with real-world applications. Students will evaluate information presented in graphs and charts as well as generate their own surveys. Other topics include measures of frequency, dispersion, central tendency and position, uncertainty, hypothesis testing, basic probability theory, probability distributions, and statistical inference.
