For the second year in a row, the Lady Tigers have taken home the IHSA Regional crown.

The team had a hard-fought but convincing 3 to 1 win over Timothy Christian on Friday, May 11. Holy Trinity was led by Atzihri Guido ’20, who scored three goals to bring her single-season scoring record to 39 goals! The defense was particularly effective in shutting down Timothy Christian in the second half.

In addition, Atzihri, Sui Len and Fatima Olaitan were each selected by vote of the coaches in our region to the IHSA 2018 Soccer All-Regional Team.

The Lady Tigers play DePaul College Prep in a sectional game on Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. in Elmhurst.
