Mastering the Markets

The Economics Class closed its portfolio for their stock market simulation on December 13, 2018.

Seniors Maryfer Palacios, Isabel Mares, and Julio Trevino won prizes for picking the three best-performing stocks. Maryfer won the competition with her pick of McCormick and Company, which rose dramatically. Isabel and Julio finished second and third with their picks of Johnson and Johnson and Glaukos, both of which performed very well.

Coach Larry Martin, who volunteers to run the simulation, was very impressed with the analysis the class brought to a very challenging market.
