Head Coach - Girls Varsity Soccer
Coach Elijah has played soccer for more than 20 years and has played in every position on the field. As a junior in high school, he was the team’s top scorer while also playing extensive minutes in midfield and defense. He captained his team as a senior to the first tournament win in program history and the highest conference finish in more than 10 years while receiving All-Conference honors. He possesses a Grassroots coaching license and has coached for more than 12 years at all age groups from U-8 through high school. During this time, his teams won multiple league titles and tournament trophies and brought an ethic of hard work and teamwork to every game. While in college, he was a practice squad player for the University of Michigan Women’s Soccer team and learned about the game from Coach Greg Ryan, who was previously the U.S. Women’s National Team head coach, and Coach Dean Duerst, the winningest coach in University of Wisconsin’s history. Coach Elijah believes in empowering the players to trust their ability to find solutions on the field and is excited to facilitate individual and team growth throughout the season.
