Stephen Gladden
Head Coach - Cross Country and Track & Field
Stephen Gladden begins his twenty-fifth year as Holy Trinity’s head cross country and head track & field coach in 2024-25 after serving as an assistant track coach from 1996-2000. Under Coach Gladden’s leadership, the Holy Trinity track and field team has set 12 school records (10 individual, two relay). Holy Trinity’s Girls team claimed the CPC Outdoor Track and Field championship in 2017, second place finish in 2018, third place finish in 2023. Coach Gladden’s efforts at Holy Trinity resulted in eighteen (fifteen individual, three relay) state series outdoor qualifiers. He has coached 3 State Series Finalists, 1 GCAC Individual Champion, 5 Individual Class A Sectional Champions and 28 CPC All-Conference Individual and Relay designations and 24 Individual CPC Conference Champions, 1 Cross Country State Finalist, and multiple CPC Conference scorers in track and field. Stephen attended Princeton University and became part of a school record sprint medley relay team. He received his bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning in 1974. He is a USA Track & Field Level I certified coach with US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Certification in Track and Field.
