Who: Students who are at least 15 years old and in good academic standing may enroll. Holy Trinity Students should enroll by October 31, 2025. Seats are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Times: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 3:30PM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 3:15-4:15 PM. No class on most Wednesdays but exceptions will apply (e.g. Wed. 12/3)

Cost: $75  (Additional $20 state fee applies in order to obtain a driving permit)

Driver’s Ed at Holy Trinity will begin Thursday, November 6 and run through Thursday December 18, 2025. The class will meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:30-5: 00 PM and Fridays from 3:15-4:15 PM in Room 309. Students may register in-person through the Business office or by calling the Business Office (773) 278-4212 x3056. The registration fee is $75.

Additional Information

  • The class will cap at 30 students, however, a minimum of 20 students need to sign up in order for the Fall session to be offered.
  • This HT course fulfills the required 30 hours of classroom instruction needed to obtain a license. The $75 is the cost for classroom instruction only (Phase 1)
  • Additional $20 state fee applies in order to obtain a driving permit
  • The class will not provide Behind-The-Wheel training (BTW/Phase 2), which is the required 6 hours of driving for students under the age of 18.
  • ATTENDANCE is MANDATORY (Only 2 excused absences will be allowed, which will need to be made up)

Academic Eligibility Requirements: Each student must be enrolled in high school and receive a passing grade in at least eight courses during the previous two semesters prior to enrolling in a driver education course. If a pupil is a freshman, school districts may count passing grades from the last semester of the student’s eighth grade school year.
