The HT Baseball Tigers (5-5 overall) defeated Ida Crown Jewish Academy, 10-2, on Thursday night. The Tigers are now 3-0 in conference play, good for first place in the Chicago Prep Conference. The winning pitcher was freshman Luke Glorioso, who was helped by 2 big hits by Elijah Mota. GO TIGERS!
The Holy Trinity Baseball Tigers defeated Rochelle Zell, 16-1, last night in just four innings of play. HT Baseball is now 2-0 in the Chicago Prep Conference and 3-3 overall on the season, with wins over Zell (twice) and Hancock. Next up for Coach Glorioso and the Varsity Baseball team is a matchup vs St. Ignatius today, April 1st, at Ignatius at 6:30pm. GO TIGERS!
On Sunday, March 16th, the Holy Trinity Baseball Tigers visited Holy Rosary Church for a St. Joseph Table and Mass. This was the 15th annual team season opening day blessing. Players, parents, grandparents, and siblings attended -- everyone brought food to the table to share. It was a terrific event to kick off the Spring 2025 baseball season.
Holy Trinity's Varsity Baseball Head Coach, Joe Glorioso, is being inducted into the IHSBCA Hall of Fame! This honor recognizes those coaches who have led an exemplary career of integrity, dedication, service, and commitment to their program, to their profession, and to Illinois High School Baseball. The formal induction will occur at the IHSBCA Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony. The Hall of Fame dinner and Induction Ceremony will take place at The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center Hotel on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
