The Holy Trinity girls basketball picked up a huge conference win on Thursday night. Senior guard Diamond Young helped the tigers jump out to an early lead with a big first quarter. However, the Gladiators were able to come back and tie the game at half. Holy Trinity relied on its defense and a big second half performances from Mar’Kianna Mickles and Nayanah Mahone to lead the tigers to an 8-point victory.
The HT Girls’ basketball team now gets a well-deserved rest over winter break. Next up for HT Girls’ B-Ball: on the road at Westmont on Jan. 9th.
