For the Lady Tigers, the day started with the quartet of Seniah Martin, Angelica Cave, Delilah Gutierrez, and Sunita Pate, moving the baton around the track in 1:01.94, taking 9th place. Angelica lowered her 100 meter personal record, with Sunita and Seniah posting quality runs as well in the 100 meter sprint. After a series of bad weather days, the skies cleared on Saturday enough to enable the Tiger track team to put together a series of impressive early season performances. The field events started the day, and Patrick Ezeanyim set a PR with a throw of 8.62 meters (28’-3 ½”) to place 15th in the shot put. HT Girls' Flag Football Team Dismantles UIC Prep, 27-0 written by Coach Gladden The girls Flag Football team evened their record to 2-2 with a 27-0 win against UIC Prep on Tuesday, Sept. 9th at McKinley Park. The victory proved the adage, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog,” to be true, as the team secured the victory with only eight players, one over the minimum.
