The Holy Trinity track and field team kicked off its 2026 outdoor campaign at the Latin/Hope Invitational #1, competing against fifteen schools from across IHSA Class 1A through Class 3A. Patrick Ezeanyin (8.49 meters/27’-10 ¼ “) – Shot Put), Claude Bickel (2:40.18 – 800 meter run) set personal records in their respective events.
On the track, Manasseh Boahene delivered the top finish for the Tigers, placing second in the 200 meter sprint with a time of 24.92, Viktor Markovych finished sixth in 25.88. The quartet of Viktor Markovych, Yuri Bryant, Seth Miller, and Manasseh Boahene
pushed the baton around the track in the 800 meter relay finishing fourth in a time of 1:43.91.
Sunita Pate and Seniah Martin placed 14 th and 19 th in the 100 meter sprint with times of 15.04 and 15.48 respectively. In the field events, Nayanah Mahone finished 7 th in her first long jump competition with a jump of 3.85 meters (12’-7 ¾ “). Arielle Asberry-Baker started her shot put season finishing 11 th in the shot put with a throw of 6.74 meters (22’-1 ½ “). Holy Trinity returns to action on Saturday, April 11, at the 2026 Westmont Steve Wolf Invitational in Westmont, with the action set to start at 9:00 AM.
