Westmont Invitational Features Seven Tiger Personal Records

After a series of bad weather days, the skies cleared on Saturday enough to enable the Tiger track team to put together a series of impressive early season performances. The field events started the day, and Patrick Ezeanyim set a PR with a throw of 8.62 meters (28’-3 ½”) to place 15th in the shot put. The track events featured Jaden Hamilton finishing 3rd in the 100 meter sprint with a time of 11.93, and Viktor Markovych taking 7th place in the same event. After the preliminary round, Jilene had the top mark of 4.92 meters. The top nine jumpers advanced to the long jump final with each athlete getting three more attempts. The Holy Trinity Track and Field team closed out their regular season schedule at the Orr Invitational in a final tune-up before competing in the conference championship on Thursday, May 8th at Westmont High School.
