HT Girls’ Basketball Falls Just Short to Rochelle Zell on the Road, 47-44

On the road, in a CPC conference matchup, the Lady Tigers fell just short of victory falling to Rochelle Zell 47-44. The visiting Tigers struggled through the first quarter, trailing 10 to 4 after 8 minutes of play. From the 2nd quarter on however, HT was right in this contest. Late in the 4th quarter, with the score tied at 44 apiece and only 37 seconds to play, Rochelle Zell hit the game winning and-one en route to the win. HT featured Diamond Young who exploded for 23 points on the night.  Teammates Nayanah Mahone and Jayla Beverly added 10 and six points respectively. Rochelle Zell’s sophomore, Shylee Blavvise, led all scorers with 26 points, while senior Elana Cohen added 15, and Ava Feinberg had six.
