De La Salle Invitational — Track & Field Meet Recap 2/16/25

A small but determined group of athletes ended the weekend for the Tiger Track and Field Teams this Sunday morning at the De La Salle#2 Invitational. Leonte Curington-Harris opened his senior year shot put campaign with a 17 th place
finish and a personal record of 33’-6 1/4 , bettering his old mark by 22 inches. Jaden Hamilton competed in the 60-meter and 200-meter sprints, stopping the clock in 7.23
seconds and 24.86 seconds respectively, resulting in personal records, finishing sixth in both races. Manasseh Boahene competed in the same double (60m/200m), also setting a personal record at 60 meters and equaling his indoor best at 200 meters.
On the women’s side, newcomers Naomi Mahone (200m) and Sunita Pate
(60m/200m) established baseline performances in the sprint events finishing 7th , 7th and
4th respectively at the Frosh/Soph level. Jilene Velasquez finished 8 th in the Varsity 60m
sprint and 7 th at 200 meters in her first action of the year.
