The Tigers were highlighted by a first-place finish in the 4x100m relay in a seasonal best time of 47.02, while several athletes posted seasonal-best and personal best performances in the team’s final tune-up before the conference championships. recap written by Coach Stephen Gladden Despite less-than-ideal running conditions, the Tiger runners used the opportunity to post eleven personal bests in their signature events. For the Lady Tigers, the day started with the quartet of Seniah Martin, Angelica Cave, Delilah Gutierrez, and Sunita Pate, moving the baton around the track in 1:01.94, taking 9th place. Angelica lowered her 100 meter personal record, with Sunita and Seniah posting quality runs as well in the 100 meter sprint. Andrea Barrera finished 8th in the 800 meter run, posting an outdoor season best of 3:03.74. Sophia Conde finished 20th covering the same distance. [...]

Six members of the team produced new personal records in their preferred events. Working against a strong headwind, Jilene Velazquez collected her first All-Conference designation of the day, winning the long jump with a leap of 4.37m on her final attempt.
