The ceremony was led by chapter president Gabriel Sheikh and his fellow members who had been inducted in 2018: Alberton Colon ’20, Tony Davenport ’20, Atzhiri Guido ’20, Jalante Honeycutt ’20, Jordan Newell ’20, Kevin Perez ’20, Angela Ponce-Solano ’20, Jennifer Rios ’20, Jessica Roman ’20, Mariana Trejo ’20, Aaron Trinidad ’20, Moshay Turner ’20, Dung Vu ’20, and Ashley Willis ’20.

The purpose of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. As new inductees, the scholars pledge to carry out this purpose with the help of family and friends.
