Senior Jaden Hamilton and junior Manasseh Boahene are the latest Holy Trinity athletes to punch their tickets to the semifinals for the Class 1A State High School Outdoor State Track and Field Championships. Both athletes earned their spots through qualifying finishes in their respective events. For the Lady Tigers, the day started with the quartet of Seniah Martin, Angelica Cave, Delilah Gutierrez, and Sunita Pate, moving the baton around the track in 1:01.94, taking 9th place. Angelica lowered her 100 meter personal record, with Sunita and Seniah posting quality runs as well in the 100 meter sprint. Westmont Invitational Features Seven Tiger Personal Records

After a series of bad weather days, the skies cleared on Saturday enough to enable the Tiger track team to put together a series of impressive early season performances. The field events started the day, and Patrick Ezeanyim set a PR with a throw of 8.62 meters (28’-3 ½”) to place 15th in the shot put. The track events featured Jaden Hamilton finishing 3rd in the 100 meter sprint with a time of 11.93, and Viktor Markovych taking 7th place in the same event. The Hunt for October Begins written by Coach Gladden Under cloudy and rainy skies, the Holy Trinity Cross Country teams began their quests for qualifying regional times in late October at the Roycemore Invitational. One hundred and seventy athletes representing thirteen schools competed in the boys and girls three mile races. Pitias Merach powered through the course in a seasonal best time of 20:48.40, finishing 24 th on the boys side.
