HT.  3-1.  overall and 1-1 in the Chicago Prep.

The win at home moved the Tigers back on track for the season, and allowed Coach Gruber an opportunity to get some valuable playing time not only for the regulars but for all team members. An 8 to 2.  1st quarter burst, propelled  the varsity tonight. A 2nd stanza 14 to 4 run made it 22 to 6 in HTs favor by the half. Part of the success was due to the scoring prowess of three Tiger starters. For the night, Nayanah Mahone (15 points), and both Diamond Young and teammate Jayla Beverly (8 points each) led the Tigers offensive thrust thru the 1st 16 minutes of play. This scoring muscle included a 14 to 4 third quarter run that put the game out of reach for the visiting Pumas of Northtown. A valiant effort by the Pumas Sharokina Montano (9 points) and Ali Saho (5 points), salvaged a 10 to 4 fourth quarter effort for Northtown.
