Dear Holy Trinity Community:

We are writing to inform you that an individual at Holy Trinity High School has tested positive for COVID-19. We are working directly with the Chicago Public Health Department on this matter to promptly identify and notify individuals who have had recent close contact with the COVID-19 positive individual. We are also following our school policy’s cleaning and disinfecting procedures, based on guidance from the Center for Disease Control and State and local health departments to prevent further spread of the disease.

We will continue to enforce safe practices to prevent, promptly identify, and respond to potential COVID cases. We will also continue to monitor our students and staff for signs and symptoms of illness to promptly identify possible outbreaks upon our return to the building. Detailed information about COVID-19 symptoms can be found at the Illinois Department of Public Health’s website: https://www.dph.illinois.gov/topics-services/diseases-and-conditions/diseases-a-z-list/coronavirus/symptoms-treatment

We will return to the building on Monday November 9, 2020 (Blue Cohort). Until then, all instruction will be done virtually. Tomorrow the building will be closed to students so that we can execute appropriate cleaning protocols per CDC guidelines. Furthermore, I will update you on schedule changes/postponements for the next 2 weeks. Students are expected:

  1. Sign in to all classes promptly and on time
  2. Turn in all classwork on time
  3. Ensure that your teacher can see you while on camera.
  4. Dress appropriately and be well groomed on camera
